We are Simone and Romina, IDUEVAGAMONDI, two thirty-year-olds who, after several years travelling as photographers and writers for travel/mountain magazines as well as tourist offices, in 2020 after years of searching decided to stop. We missed too much the mountains of home, those of Cuneo. Here we are, having moved to live in the mountains, in Valle Pesio. Here we are the only residents of a small village at 900 metres. Besides photography, for two years weโ€™ve been running a family rural hospitality. With this life change, focused above all on simplicity and a return to a more authentic and wild life, we also opened a YouTube channel where we tell about life as mountaineers, hoping one day we can be so one hundred percent.

From chopping wood, making bread, fixing up the property, we learn every day new and even old crafts of a past time so as to live again in symbiosis with the forest and the mountain. With the greatest possible respect. A hard life but perfect for what we have learned over these years. You could say a life dedicated to living the mountain 360ยฐ, all year round. Our project wants to be longโ€‘term with an important focus: โ€œcreating authentic value in respect and safeguarding of nature, of the mountain.โ€

We want to make a mountain shine again, a forgotten middle land, neglected for too many years but which deserves to be told, promoted, lived. Thanks to the help of our animals, we are cleaning up the woods, improving the chestnut groves and the old paths.

We live all year round with boots on, completely immersed in nature. You could say a dream come true!
